Review on the series so far
I'm just going to go ahead and be honest and tell you that I am not a big reader. Very few books that I have picked up have kept me interested. The last time I picked up a book and couldn't put it down was 2 summers ago. But when I read The Lying Game and the following two novels I got hooked. The sense of mystery really kept me hanging on because I literally NEEDED to know what was going to happen next. Now, I am reading the rest of the series and it just keeps getting better. You know how sometimes a series kind of gets boring after a while because they are running out of twists to introduce? That is definitely NOT the case with The Lying Game. I also like how Emma Paxton is sweet and caring but then you also get the other side when seeing Sutton who is a nasty queen bee. I would recommend the series to all of my friends, give it a thumbs up, and a 5 star rating! These three books were definitely the best books I have read in a long time!

Sutton Mercer
Sutton Mercer was 17 year old queen bee. She was adopted into a wealthy family that lived in a mansion in Tuscon, Arizona. She had 2 loving parents, 1 beautiful sister, 2 loyal best friends, and a whole school of people willing to do anything to be her friend. Also, she had a twin name Emma Paxton who had recently discovered her, little did she know that Sutton was dead. Sutton died soon before her 17th birthday party and her murder was unsolved, and now her twin is doing everything she can to find her killer.

Who and Why?
If you like a good mystery, this book is definitely for you. The main mystery is who Sutton's muderer is but to get there, there are other mysteries Emma has to uncover. These different questions always had me guessing. When I wasn't reading the book I was trying to answer different questions within the story. Also, I think girls in specific would like the The Lying Game series because aside from the main mystery in the story, the drama surrounding is something a girl could take interest in. Lastly, if you have seen the television show and enjoyed it, I believe that you will like the series. It is a lot like the story of the show but not so similar that you will know what is going to happen next.
Book vs. TV Show
So far in the series I have found two major differences. In the book Sutton is dead and narrating from death and in the television show Sutton is alive and hiding. This suprisingly does not make too much a difference to the story other than Sutton cannot help Emma understand more about her past life. The second difference that I found was the main mystery. The main idea of the book is to find Sutton's murderer while in the book Emma and Sutton have a major common goal of finding their birth mother. One minor difference between the two are added and subtracted characters. In the book the Twitter Twins are introduced but do not exist in the television series.
Plot Summary of "Two Truths and A Lie"
In Two Truths and A Lie Emma continued her search for Sutton's murderer. The third book mainly revolves around Thayer Vega, Sutton's bestfriend's brother who mysteriously dissapeared from Tuscon. Emma knew that he was missing from posters around town and also knew that he had something to do with Sutton. One night he appeared in Sutton's room, but he was caught by Sutton's father and tried to make a run for it. He was caught by the police and was held in jail. Emma had so many questions to ask him about Sutton while pretending to be her, so she visited him in prison to get some answers. He reveals a little about their relationship which helps her figure more out about Sutton and her past life. The books ends with Emma having a fresh new suspect for Sutton's murder..and its not who you would think.

Plot Summary of "Never Have I Ever"
In the next book of the series Never Have I Ever, Emma continued to pretend to be her dead twin sister Sutton Mercer. The hunt for her killer continued and along the way she uncovered a super dangerous prank that her sister played when she was alive. This lead her to a series of evidence pointing toward a certain someone...or "someones" who may have killed Sutton. She continued to dig and dig throughout the story but when she is warned to stop, she faces a near death experience. At the end of the book she hit a dead end and is left with as many questions as when she began.
